DESCR (412B)

      1 The Visualization Toolkit (VTK) is an open-source, freely available software
      2 system for 3D computer graphics, modeling, image processing, volume rendering,
      3 scientific visualization, and 2D plotting. It supports a wide variety of
      4 visualization algorithms and advanced modeling techniques, and it takes
      5 advantage of both threaded and distributed memory parallel processing for speed
      6 and scalability, respectively.
